Meta made her wedding dress her own with a red tulle skirt hiding underneath the white wedding dress. Beautiful.
Wasn’t she such a calm, gorgeous, sophisticated bride. Just look at how happy she was!Hair details. Some pretty hair bling. A gorgeous fan that she carried down the aisle instead of a traditional bouquet of flowers. The ring shot. And the shoes. Classy and sexy, those red shoes are. And that ring? Simple, elegant, and something she’ll be more than excited to wear everyday for the rest of her life. Meta is a hairdresser, so when it came to her big day, she had the best of the best taking care of her and making her just simply gorgeous, down to every last detail. What a lucky girl! :D
The chapel where Ian married Meta was beautiful and intimate. And do you see that weather? It’s called perfect. What a handsome man she had waiting for her at the end of the aisle! And what sexy Maids of Honor. Actually, Meta called them her Maids of Awesome all day. And they were dressed the part. :) Even her best friend put on his best duds for her wedding day. What else is love?Stylish and sexy mustaches for the ladies. The men? They got to rock big pink lips. :PThis may be my favorite shot of the whole day. See how lighthearted the mood was? How happy everybody was? How close they all are as friends? How much they gathered around Meta and Ian on the big day? Beautiful.
Girls. Laughing. Because this is what girls do.I love the assortment of shoes. What a perfect way to spice up their outfits and let their own style shine through!Pause for a moment and appreciate the quiet beauty in this photo. And the light. What soft, angelic, PERFECT light. I could not have asked for anything more. Really. Except this. Love? I think so. More yummy light. And a beautiful couple. Again. :) Even more cuteness.
I love this girl! Look at that style! :DThey celebrated their reception at the Camden Stanford house in Oakland, California, near Lake Merritt. So classy and stylish. And unique. Simple, classic table decor. I love the summer-y feel. And the bottle. And the baby’s breath. And the light. Oh, the light. Meta’s friend made all of her cupcakes! The display was perfect. And adorable. And delicious looking. And those cupcakes? To die for. I ate two, I confess. :)Old-fashioned guest book. How cool is it to have your guests sign with a feather pen!? Love it. More of the house. Still classy and timeless.Loved the bar, so sweet and simple.
Sangria? Win. They had a slideshow of life’s images set up on a projector. The best part was that Meta had a different hair color in each image. That and all of the laughs. And memories. So much reminiscing :) Enjoying the al fresco reception party. :) Love. (And secrets.)Hanging out on a bench, being married. Love it. The photobooth set-up was so much fun! Especially with the props, and people got SO into the props! What great mementos from a wonderful night! What a gorgeous location!Bride and Mamma. I love the contrasting emotion here. So intimate and tender. And raw. And heartfelt. :)
Thank you so much to Ian and Meta for letting me be a part of your special day. It was beautiful and I wish you both all the best in married life!
