{food} Elmwood Café, Berkeley, California

I spent yesterday afternoon studying at the Elmwood Café in Berkeley’s Elmwood district. I ate a BLT – yum – and had their homemade lavender soda, and then topped lunch off with a piece of hot raspberry nectarine crumble. Everything’s good quality, and even though it’s a little expensive, well, you get what you pay for. I wished the sandwich had more stuff in it though, and the crumble could have used more fruit and less bread-y topping. And maybe an extra dollop of whipped cream. ha ha. But yesterday I even got lucky enough to score a seat in the window. And it had an outlet, too. :)

I’d like to go back sometime for a cappuccino there – they serve all of their bar drinks in awesome little bowls. It’s really adorable.
