Cauliflower soup with vadouvan / Radishes and chèvre / Chai-infused smoked pears

+ 2010 Birichino Malvasia Bianca, Monterey

Beets with walnut, citrus, pickled garlic and puntarelle

+ 2010 Birichino Vin Gris Cinsault/Grenache/Rolle, California

Warm salad of chanterelles pickled chanterelles, black garlic, cornbread toasted in brown butter and foraged greens

+2011 Birichino “Saint Georges Vineyard” Pinot noir, Central Coast

Pork three-ways with butter beans, escarole and mustard

+2010 Birichino “Besson Vineyard” Grenache Vieilles, Vignes, Central Coast

Pine Needle Panna Cotta, smoked bacon caramel, pine nut toffee

 

I had an absolutely fabulous time shooting this two day event. It was seriously the most amazing day of being outside and hanging out and eating delicious food. The barn was gorgeous and the people wonderful. :)
