This was taken outside of Mars Mercantile on Telegraph in Berkeley, California yesterday. The dusk light was perfect and I was on my way to deliver a cute stocking. I always think that the red wall + bench + weird quotes on the marquee make this one of the most photogenic (and quintessential, really) spots on Telegraph Avenue and I’ve taken a number of different iterations of this image over my three and a half years living in this city. Wouldn’t a diligent coverage of this spot make a fun photo project?? :)
I’ll be walking past the corner in a few hours, on my way to take my last final of the semester. Before that I hadn’t taken my camera out of hibernation for over a week. A week!! I couldn’t remember the last time that had happened. I’m looking forward to some new adventures, some exciting shoots, maybe getting a new lens, spending time with family, and finally fiiinally showing you all photos of Outstanding in the Field.
p.s. A wedding I shot with Meg Perotti at the Merchant’s Exchange was featured on Style me Pretty the other day and one I shot in Tiburon at the Lyford House with Love Life Studios was featured on their blog the other day. Both are such pretty spreads and the best part is I spy some of my images! :)
p.s.s. It’s also on my list of things to do to share images I took from each of these weddings and the rest of the ones I shot throughout the year on the blog. It’s going to be a busy end of 2011 and start of 2012!! :D
