My mother has always had the best Valentine’s. She hand makes them and my favorite thing is the signature way she draws hearts – one curved line that joins at the top in a V. No flourish-y angles at the bottom. No curly Qs. Just one sweet and lovable heart. It’s perfect.
Waking up Valentine’s Day morning, getting Mamma’s Valentine has always been the number one thing I look forward to. That and the unique sweets she makes sure to have on hand – the sweet gummy hearts on the left are courtesy of her. So sweet.
