I stopped in this beach town for a walk on the wharf and a sandwich at Mo’s Smokehouse on my solo roadtrip down to Santa Barbara this past week. Thank. Goodness. I was grumpy and tired of driving and hungry without knowing it by the time I drove down the bit of the 101 where this town comes into view. I had to stop. It was like the sun and sand gods realized my need and called out. The wharf was gorgeous, sunset was lovely, and Mo’s BBQ was, well, awesome BBQ.
I wouldn’t have minded spending much more than an hour here. :)
