Based out of Half Moon Bay, California, Simone shoots weddings+portraits, food, travel, and style. She currently works for The Daily Californian as a staff photographer.

She wrote her thesis on Urban Food Systems and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in May 2012 with a BA. Simone aspires to work in Journalism.

shady rest motel

Another from my roadtrip down to Santa Barbara. This cracks me up: who would want to stay at a place named the “Shady Rest” motel? haha. I suppose it’s supposed to mean shade instead of sunshine, but still. I laughed. And that is why I have three pictures on this blog right now, when one would have sufficed haha.
