Berkeley Brunch Wedding
Sasha and Tim’s Berkeley brunch wedding was the absolute BEST way to spend a day. The ladies started getting ready super early in the morning and we watched the sun rise through the fog from their beautiful Berkeley City Club room. Sasha and her sister and bridesmaids were the sweetest and meeting first them and then the sweetest most kind groom ever in Tim was such a treat and made this a quick favorite for weddings I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of and documenting.
I loved getting a few photos of Sasha in her stunning dress on the Berkeley City Club property before we left: It’s a gorgeous, historic hotel designed by Julia Morgan and has the loveliest headed up to the Tilden Botanical Garden and the Brazilian Room in the park for first look photos, portraits among the trees (and the fog! omg, magic!). From there, we headed up to the sunny patio where these two officially tied the know surrounded by their friends and family.
There’s something so sweet and fun about a morning wedding and I love that Sasha and Tim capitalized on that by serving brunch (complete with a built your own incredible waffle bar!!!) and eating donuts instead of cake!
Their toasts were so sweet – not a dry eye in the house by the end – and then these two made everybody “aww” when they got completely lost in each other during their first dance. Such a sweet moment.
From there, it was a relaxed rest of the morning. Everybody relaxed on the lawn, all the cousins and friends hung out, enjoyed each others’ company, and just generally reveled in the celebration of the newlyweds! Such a perfect Berkeley brunch wedding!
