Bernal Hill Engagement Photos | M&G - Simone Anne Photography

This is the second half of Maghan and Ginger’s Bernal Hill engagement photos and I am… equally in love with everything we created together. We started with them in all white/cream (and black) and then they popped home for a quick outfit change before we headed up the hill.

The golden light, the cute backdrop of San Francisco houses and streets, the way the wind whips through Maghan’s dress, Ginger’s all navy ensemble… a perfect sunset for a perfect couple and some photos I love sooo much.

Bernal Hill is a super cute spot for an engagement session. Bernal Hill has epic views of San Francisco and the entire San Francisco Bay Area: There are 360 degree views and you can see everything from the city everywhere, the San Francisco Bay, Oakland and Berkeley, the boats in the harbor and Bay, downtown San Francisco… you name it. It’s also a pretty quiet park, which makes it ideal for Bernal Hill engagement photos (!), especially when you want to just enjoy the sunset with your favorite person and get some beautiful photos together.

I love Maghan’s slides, the shoes she’s wearing in this half of their Bernal Hill engagement photos. She’s a style writer and a collage artist, and she actually designed the shoes that she’s wearing! Originally she hadn’t planned to wear these shoes for the session, but at the last minute she slipped them on and I loveeeee how they go with this entire look. They’re cute, they’re funky, they’re personal, and their colors match both of their looks. It’s a little less formal than the rest of their photo session outfit, but that’s part of what makes them so fun.
