I am SO EXCITED about Megan and Chad’s engagement photos in the forest. First of all, I’ve known Megan for forever now (through a mutual friend who is my lifelong friend/basically sister) and I’ve had the genuine pleasure of getting to know Chad over the last few years (although they’ve been dating for six, almost seven years!). Second of all, Sam and I are lucky to count them as wonderful friends. We’re lucky enough to live near each other now and get the chance to hang out, have game nights and dinner nights, and catch up regularly. It’s the best and always so much fun to spend time with them.

ANYWAYS. When they got engaged during their Christmas holiday trip to Vancouver, Sam and I were both over the moon for them. I wanted to see them and hug them and celebrate and, duh, take their photo. So we picked the perfect spot and did just that and then the four of us went out for the most delicious meal ever and it was all a dream and a success. Enjoy the photos!

p.s. Yes, I’ve worked with Megan before. I photographed her for the first time when we played dress up and she fulfilled her lifelong dream of being Audrey Hepburn, then I photographed her headshots and some portraits of her and her momma, and then I photographed her again when I did photos of her and her sister as Christmas gifts for her dad. It’s been an excellent run and I am so glad to call both her and Chad dear friends.
