Evergreen Lodge Wedding
Jamey and Lolo’s Evergreen Lodge wedding was so pretty and such a blast. These two are a super power couple with some wonderful friends and fabulous families. Between all of their schooling and working (she’s a doctor saving lives and he’s a lawyer fighting to protect the environment!!!) they’ve been long distance for a while (and actually had to continue after they got married for a short while; residency is hard!) and so their wedding was extra sweet, a wonderful chance for them to get together themselves AND be surrounded by all of their people. Truly wonderful.
Their wedding was the sweetest, their party the biggest and most fun, their dance floor epic. Jamey plays guitar and his band, headlined by him!, played some songs at the beginning of the reception, under the clear tent with views of the dusky sky and the evergreen trees.
They had pie for dessert and unicorns hiding as part of their wedding decor (Lolo is low key obsessed with unicorns, which is how you know she’s an extra rad lady), a wedding ceremony location that guests got to by walking along a dirt trail through the forest), and Lolo picked her dress out from a second hand shop in Berkeley the week before the wedding (she literally had only tried it on once and before she slipped it over her head, she raised a glass of champagne & said, “here’s to hoping it fits!” hahaha. Spoiler alert: It did and it looked absolutely fabulous).
I honestly couldn’t have been lucky enough to be a part of a cooler wedding than this one: Thank you both SO much for having me! xx
Evergreen Lodge: Yosemite Wedding Venue
There’s a gorgeous spot in the trees where they like to do ceremonies and I cannot recommend it enough. As you can see in the above images, it’s an absolutely gorgeous spot to say your vows, just outside of Yosemite National Park. Your guests will walk down a wooded trail to join you in the forest for your wedding ceremony. While most guests are invited to walk into the wedding, Evergreen Lodge does provide vehicle transport for those guests who are unable to make the trip by foot. The venue has a truck with 4×4 capabilities that they can use to get your grannies/less-abled to your wedding ceremony. If you’ve been dreaming of a walk in wedding venue that will also be able to accommodate your other guests, Evergreen Lodge is the venue!
Evergreen Lodge Yosemite Wedding Cost
Similar to Rush Creek Lodge (the sister property of Evergreen Lodge), the rental fee is ~$5,500, meals are ~$50/person, drinks are $9/each for cocktails, $21/person for wine, and kegs of beer can cost $500. For a 75 person wedding, with rehearsal dinner and meals for that, plus a dance floor, bartender, bridal getting ready room and much much more, you could be looking at a cost of about $25,000 for a 75 person wedding here, inclusive of food and most services (but not photography).
