Half Moon Bay Engagement Photos
Sam & Summer’s Half Moon Bay engagement photos were an absolute blast. I had an opening in my schedule and at the last minute we were able to take advantage of some truly amazing weather on the coastside for a stunning outdoor session.
We started at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss Beach for some images in the forest.

I adore the light in here, no matter what the weather is, but I have to say there is something seriously incredible about the way the light looks coming through the trees on a sunny day.
Not to mention, aren’t Sam and Summer just so dang cute? These two are absolutely in love and it shows in everything sweet that makes its way between them: looks, touches, smiles… I loved watching them interact.

Summer is studying fashion merchandising at the moment and she really showed off her unique and lovely style with the two outfits she had picked out for this day. I absolutely adored the green dress on her – the pop of color in the forest was the loveliest – and that poof on her head? The best and sweetest statement piece that made her look like a princess. A classy, stylish, stunning princess.
Oh, the sweetness!
Sam picked out Summer’s engagement ring all by himself. He went for classic and perfectly romantic: Solitaire Tiffany’s diamond ring. And it was STUNNING!

That being said, we headed to the beach after this in order to get some images of Sam and Summer on the beach in the most incredible weather. That is definitely beach weather, isn’t it? So incredible. It wasn’t even a little bit cold!
And the sky was breathtaking. In fact, it kept getting more and more breathtaking all day long!
Summer changed poofs for the second half of our session and I just loved the character on this one, too. So simple and pretty! The perfect accent piece.

Like I said, we had the most incredible California sunset and so together we definitely made sure to create some images that really show that aspect of the day off. And I love them! So much color in the sky that night and I love the way it comes across in images!
And with that, happy engagement (again and again!) to Sam and Summer. I absolutely cannot wait to be your Casa Real wedding photographer later this year! It’s going to be a very wonderful day. xo
