WOW! What a beautiful day. Linsey and Jared’s amazing Healdsburg Winery Wedding at the Seghesio Family Estate was absolutely stunning. Thank you both so much for inviting me to be a part of your day!

I arrived in the morning. It was already hot and the sun was shining down on this stunning view. Lindsey and Jared’s wedding was held at the Seghesio Family Estate in Healdsburg. The Seghesio is like second family for Lindsey (and now Jared!) because for many years Lindsey was their boys’ “older sister.” It was such fun to celebrate such an important day in such a meaningful place.

Since the men and women were both getting ready in close proximity, I was able to bounce back and forth between the two rooms pretty easily. It made things so relaxed on my end as I watched the guys get into their suits, knowing the girls were still finishing make-up in the house next door.

When they were talking to me ahead of time, Linsey said she didn’t have a color scheme for the wedding. She was hands down one of the most laid back brides I’ve ever worked with. I showed up to this gorgeousness and knew immediately that “no color scheme” meant “absolutely stunning flowers and bridesmaids dresses.” It was a total win.

Lindsey’s dress was custom fitted to her, which was perfect. This stunning number fit her like a glove and made her look like a queen. 

Jared did SUCH an amazing job with the ring: Lindsey’s Vera Wang Engagement ring was  stunning. 

I also loved her right hand ring, a “borrow” from her mother of an heirloom from her grandmother. It was absolutely lovely and a perfect sentimental item to wear on her wedding day.

But just because she was easy going doesn’t mean she wasn’t emotional. This was her and Jared’s WEDDING DAY! The tears below were shed when I asked her how long they had been dating.

“We’ve been together for about five years now,” she said. “But Jared’s liked me since the 6th grade.”

I melted. Lindsey also had super sweet letters to her best friend and younger sister, who were both standing next to her at the wedding ceremony. Tears were definitely shed; it was wonderful to see everybody reflect on these most meaningful relationships in the morning before the ceremony.

I loved watching everybody help her get dressed. The prettiest!

Dressed, there was tons of excitement. Lindsey could see out of the windows of her bridal suite to where guests were arriving, but they couldn’t see in. It was tons of fun to see who was arriving, what they were wearing, etc… and also lots of pent up energy. Lindsey was so ready to head out there and marry her sweetheart!

Here are a few fun snaps of Lindsey and her aunt, Julie. Julie and her daughter Natalie did all of the hair and make up for Lindsey and her bridesmaids. She’s also her aunt and they work together in the salon (Main Street Hair Design). Thanks a million times over to both Julie and Natalie. They did an absolutely fantastic job on all of the girls – they looked stunning – AND Julie was extremely helpful all night. Thank you for being the best! Love you!

Kristina, I loved your hair! So pretty.Before he walked her down the aisle, Lindsey and her Dad had a minute together. These two have a strong relationship and it was lovely for the both of them to take a minute to appreciate that. “I’ll always be your little girl, Daddy,” she said. Such a sweet moment.

And then it was time! Jared and Lindsey tied the knot under a big oak tree, in front of the mountains and the entire vineyard. It was an absolutely breathtaking location. Their officiant, Tracey Walsh, has known Jared since he was a small kid. It really made this ceremony extra touching and meaningful to have her there officiating!

That tree, though! So gorgeous.

And they’re married! It’s official! Congrats! 

They were both so excited! They walked back down the aisle to cheers and clapping.

Then, they walked through this door. Helllooo gorgeous. Lindsey and Jared couldn’t help but sneak a quick kiss to celebrate. (I definitely didn’t mind!)

We headed straight to the front of the estate for beautiful bridal party photos.

Then, as guests got refreshed and the tables were set for dinner, Lindsey, Jared, and I headed into the oak trees and down to the vineyard for some sweet moments, gorgeous kisses, and beautiful photos. I was SO lucky with the gorgeous light this day and was so happy to capture such a beautiful couple – I couldn’t take a bad photo of these two if I tried! Lindsey’s flowers were absolutely stunning. I loved the soft combos of colors – they went so well with the entire feel of the day. Many many thanks to Christina at Bella Vita Event Productions for doing such an absolutely fantastic job on them. Thank you thank you!

Plus, Lindsey’s dress, Lindsey, the light… everything was totally swoon worthy!

Jared looked pretty dang amazing himself. This guy is a total gentleman and he treats Lindsey like a queen. You can really see that these two are best friends and now husband and wife, too.

Lindsey especially requested this photo, and I can totally see why! Her dress was made for the train and it looked breathtaking laid out down the stairs. Doesn’t she look like a super model?! Whoa.

And then we headed back to the reception. The afternoon sun was lighting everything up, dinner was getting ready to be served, and drinks were flowing freely. It was happy, relaxed, and the start to a really great party!

I loved their guest “book.” Instead of a book, they had guests sign a barrel – a fun memento of the winery and a great piece to add to their home as a table.  A bottle of wine made from the grapes grown riiiight where they got married! So perfect.

We headed into the first dances after dinner and toasts were done and I gotta say… the light was absolutely gorgeous. Jared and Lindsey had the sweetest first dance. They alternated between being in a happy world of their own and talking with their guests while they danced. So much happiness!

And then they cut the cake! They had the sweetest little tiered cake for cutting and then some delicious cupcakes. Special thanks to Moustache Baked Goods for doing a fantastic job on the treats table! The cake looked amazing and the cupcakes were SO good!

(p.s. It must be a trend! Katherine and Mike had a similar dessert set up which was equally sweet and delicious!) Yum!

As the sun started to set, I stole Jared and Lindsey away for another few minutes to snap some shots in the golden light. 

I am so glad that I did!

Before we headed back to the reception, I had Lindsey and Jared spend a minute dancing with each other. The resulting photos are some of my favorites of the day! that dress looked amazing, and these two are amazing together!

And such a fun party! Special thanks to Marshall Wheelen of Local Productions Event Services for doing a fantastic job as the DJ. He played great music, kept the party going, and was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend him!

Julie (Main Street Hair Design and Lindsey’s aunt) also makes these super fun stuffed pumpkins. They’re a crowd favorite at the local annual Pumpkin Fest and they’re super cute. Each guest was invited to take one home as a memento of the day. So fun!

They also played the Giant’s game in the wine cellar, right next to the dance floor. It was fun to pop in to see what the score was (and all the Giants fans hanging out in there!). It was extra fun when the Giants finally won at the end of the 18th inning! So exciting. 

The barn and dance floor looked extra pretty as the night wore on. I want to give a special shout out to Marshal of Local Productions who did an absolutely fantastic job of getting the dance floor up and going! Him and his team were in charge of sound for the entire event as well as music and lighting for the evening festivities. They did a great job, the music was great, and overall I highly recommend them!

That “LOVE” sign was the best addition to the dance floor! Handmade by Lindsey’s cousin, Erin Wiese, it was so nice to have as a decoration. Lindsey and Jared were really lucky to have so many friends and family as a part of their big day – it really felt like a coming together of both of their lives and all of the people that love them.

Of course, it was also a really great party.
