Marcom Rose Garden Engagement Photos

I am so excited about these Marcom Rose Garden engagement photos: When Ali and Jay first approached me about doing their photos together in such a pretty garden in Oakland I was stoked to find a new spot I had never photographed them in before. We did the session in mid-July and the flowers and roses were still looking gorgeous in this pretty little garden. A quiet spot without tons of people, this was a perfect, intimate location for engagement photos.

… but before we headed to the Marcom Rose garden, we did engagement photos in the Oakland redwoods! I love this spot and have photographed dozens of engagements and family photos here. It was a joy to share one of my favorite spots with Ali and Jay (they loved the redwoods!) and then pop in the car for photos at one of their favorite places. The best combination!

I absolutely love the shape of Ali’s engagement ring! Such a gorgeous cut and so unique and beautiful. I used the last bit of magical light during their engagement photos before heading to the Marcom Rose Garden to capture the ring in the perfect spot. Love!

Where is the Oakland Marcom Rose Garden?

Located in Oakland at 700 Jean St, Oakland, CA 94610 (linked on Google here) this little spot is located between the Piedmont and Grand Lake areas of Oakland. Right in the middle of a residential part of Oakland, it’s quiet here and usually pretty easy to park! Truly a perfect spot for engagement photos… and I think rentable for an outdoor wedding as well!
