Point Lobos Engagement Photos

I am so so excited about these Point Lobos engagement photos with B&A! We had the best time together, exploring the coast in Monterey and Carmel and celebrating their engagement in the place they got married. I loved meeting them, loved seeing them together (omg sooo cute, the way that A looks at B!), and loved wandering around Point Lobos with them. A state natural reserve, Point Lobos had sea otters and seals and the water was a gorgeous teal and blue color, even on a grey day. Truly a magical place for engagement photos!

I love Blair’s beautiful single solitaire diamond. Simple and gorgeous, it has a narrow band and a truly beautiful stone. She knew what she wanted when she went ring shopping with a friend who then helped Alex narrow it down to the perfect ring and plan a surprise proposal (she didn’t think he had the ring yet!) on a weekend getaway to Carmel, Monterey, and Point Lobos.

Point Lobos, Carmel

Point Lobos is a State Natural Reserve located in Carmel-by-the-Sea in California, just south of Monterey, California. As a state reserve there’s not a ton of spots you can head out onto the actual coast: You’ll see we stuck to the pathways at the beginning of the session and then found the part of the coast where you can head down to the rocks for the second half of the session. I love the orange rocks and coastline here: The bright colored dirt provides a stunning backdrop to the teal and blue ocean and is overall a gorgeous spot for engagement photos.
