Red Autumn Scarf Knitting Pattern

Like I said, I’m in a scarf mood.

Let me warn you: scarf moods are catchy.

When I started Instagramming photos of my knitting projects (yes, I just admitted to that… follow along at @simone_anne ), Sam’s little sister requested her own for this winter. I’m loving this circle scarf in red. The slight variations in color are interesting and the red adds a nice pop of color – the perfect thing to complement fall colors or add a pop of bright color to a winter outfit! :)

Knit this up in a jiffy… and let me know how it goes! :D

Cheers – Simone

How to Make This Classy Red Scarf:

Yarn – Debbie Bliss SoHo yarn in red. 100% wool. 1-2 skeins. (I used one and a half)

Needles – Size 10.5 (US)

Recipe – 25 stitches wide. Knit stitch all the way. Takes one and a half skeins, approximately, but knit to your desired length. Twist twice and knit together the first and last rows, tying off as you go. I’ve posted some more tips on how to do this at the bottom of these directions.
