We started in one of my favorite parts of San Francisco, a secret little spot I scouted out a bit ago in the Presidio. (We used this spot for photos during Nick and Meredith’s wedding, too!) I loved the light on this afternoon and we took full advantage of the beautiful setting.
These two are so happy and easy together and it really shows! Love these sweet kisses.
Vivienne actually made her adorable flower crown herself! I loved it the moment she put it on and it looked beautiful on her the whole entire session. It was definitely a lovely little prop to bring some extra color to their photo session.
I just couldn’t get over the light this afternoon! We had a beautiful San Francisco day and we were happy to take total advantage of it!

These might be my favorites from the session (although it’s dang hard to choose!)
Here we are showing off her lovely, mint green dress. Vivienne’s style choice was the perfect compliment to Charles’ softer colors and the glow of the trees. Sharply dressed, you two!
Such a pretty little ring! Love the bling.
Of course, I had to get photos of the pretty lady on her own! She was a total natural in front of the camera and we had a lot of fun making these beautiful photos. I love how relaxed and happy Vivienne is!

And just as I had to get the lady on her own, I definitely had to get the gent on his own! Charles, thanks for “bringing it” to the photo session! Your relaxed and stylish outfit was perfect and you have such a wonderful smile!
One last one in the trees before we headed to the beach. Isn’t it perfect? I’m always surprised by how you can find such quiet, solo spots in San Francisco. Even the big city has some nooks and crannies. So cute, you two!
Before we got started at the beach though, I had to get a couple photos of Vivienne’s bling! Dang girl, such a pretty ring. Great choices, you two!And another shot with the green of her dress as the backdrop.

And then, of course, we took full advantage of the beauty that is Baker’s Beach and the view of the Golden Gate Bridge that you can get here. I cannot get enough of photographing at this spot (we visited here when I did Laura and Levi’s San Francisco engagement photos, too, although it was a completely different, very foggy kind of day!)

It was so much fun to play on the beach and I couldn’t be thankful enough that Vivienne and Charles weren’t afraid of getting in the water a little bit! With lots of golden sunshine and a beautiful sunset, it made for some unforgettable images!
