Wan and Mariola’s spring engagement photos made me so happy that I had to split them up in to two posts to get them all out there in to the world. I LOVE love love these for so many reasons.
For the first set, this one, I’m sharing with you our spring engagement photos in the midst of yellow mustard flowers, in a secret spot of mine in Half Moon Bay. See, I grew up on the coast and I know this town and its magic inside and out. It’s one of the reasons I love bringing clients here: I love this place and I think the magic of that love and appreciation comes through and excites my clients and my photos and me. ANYWAYS, I spotted this amazing field of mustard flowers and told these two we just had to make a detour before our originally scheduled location (second post, also amazing, haha).
Wan and Mariola trusted me immediately and we met up, full of excitement and bewilderment at the prettiness. I love these spring engagement photos, laughed calling some of them their band photos, and I love the joy that comes through with the color. Plus I think their simple, casual outfits goes with the location so so well and their were a gallery of joy and happiness and color. Enjoy!

One of my favorite things in the world is working with a couple on their spring engagement photos and just having them let go and laugh and have a good time. There’s nothing like relaxing with your favorite person next to the beach in the spring time: It’s fresh air and sunshine, pretty blooms and laughter. It’s a really good day outside with your best friend.
