Stern Grove Clubhouse Wedding
A Stern Grove clubhouse wedding in San Francisco for Lydia and Matt that was truly a magical day. These two dodged the rain for some lovely portraits before they got married, then moved their ceremony inside to be able to say their vows without getting wet.
Unpredictable weather aside, they had a beautiful ceremony and lovely day. The Trocadero House is full of so much pretty and is quite a gorgeous place to get married and these two made the most of it with their intimate wedding. I loved their family style Italian dinner, their sweet toasts from old friends, and their sweetest first dance ever (Matt even got down on his knee like he was proposing again during their dance and it was the sweetest moment).
These two are funny and cute, full of laughter and clearly so loved by their friends. It was such an honor and a pleasure to be a part of their wedding day!
The venue, Stern Grove, is a gorgeous little redwood haven in San Francisco‘s Sunset district with a gorgeous old house on the property, called the Trocadero House. It’s intimate, sweet, beautiful, and truly a wonderful place to have a wedding.
This little moment was one of my favorite parts of this Stern Grove adventure wedding. These two are the cutest and when Matt got down on one knee in front of Lydia as a part of their first dance, half silly, half sweet, everybody smiled. I loved this part of their first dance so so much!
We ended the evening with a few photos in the rain. We borrowed a guest’s umbrella and snuck outside while guests danced on. Lydia and Matt loved the quiet moments to themselves, the soft pitter patter of the rain on top of their umbrella, and a quick moment to breathe in the fresh air and look at their wedding reception. A night to remember!
