The Ranch at Birch Creek Wedding
Natalie and John’s The Ranch at Birch Creek wedding in Livermore was a treat for the heart and the eyes. These two are the sweetest and their ceremony and reception was nothing short of stunning.
We had a magical old venue, a stunning tree and sunshine for the ceremony, beautiful portraits on the property at golden hour, the most epic sunset I’ve ever seen at a wedding (thank goodness for outdoor receptions and summer heat!), evening dancing in the barn, and a tasty ice cream truck for dessert!
These two opted not to have a first look, instead getting photos done separately before the wedding. Even if you’re not having a first look, I will always recommend that you get some photos done before the wedding so that you can spend your cocktail hour celebrating and relaxing, having fun, and just enjoying your guests.
I really love Natalie’s vintage engagement ring: Her and John got the ring together at an estate sale, a true vintage piece that they found themselves, not through a collector or dealer or anything. It was absolutely stunning; a true dream of a ring.
We also had an epicccc sunset during their reception: One of the most incredible sunsets I’ve ever had on a wedding day, ever ever. It was soft clouds and golden light at sunset, a gorgeous view of the full moon and beautiful light over the golden fields, and then during dinner and drinks in the evening the sunset EXPLODED into incredible colors and clouds. It was INSANE and soo magical.
Love SO many things about this day and I am so happy with the photos. Enjoy! XO

We started with the girls, who got ready together in the renovated house. They had a gorgeous mirror, a beautiful view of the venue, and they popped some champagne in the morning to celebrate together.
