Nadine and Tyler’s Point Reyes engagement photos are sooo beautiful, moody and romantic. We headed out there on a pretty misty day: Had some sunshine near the trees where we started with greenery and rushes, and then had to have the windshield wipers on as we headed towards the ocean. This view is perhaps one of the best in the world, truly, and it was a pleasure to share it with these two, who had never seen it in real life.
One thing that I truly truly love about these Point Reyes engagement photos is that Nadine actually made the clothes they are wearing in the first look! She sewed that dress herself and even made Tyler’s button up shirt! I was so impressed when they told me this and, very modest, she just said that she has trouble finding clothes that fit her perfectly and so she just started making them herself in order to fill her need. Such a neat talent (obviously she’s very good at what she does!!) and such a fun little piece to add to these images: It brings a lot of their personalities to these photos in a few small details!
We did have a bit of a cloudy and grey day, but these two were ready to go ahead with the session anyways and even a little rain didn’t stop us. I love the way that these turned out so much: I think the grey and the clouds add a lovely amount of coziness to these moodier Point Reyes engagement photos. I’m really happy with how these turned out and so glad I got to share then with Nadine and Taylor (and now you!)
Can’t wait for you to see these. Enjoy! xx
